MA2H: the open agent-to-human protocol
OH HAI is the reference implementation of MA2H.
What MA2H is
MA2H (Machine-Agent-to-Human) is an open protocol that standardizes how autonomous agents reach people: typed ASK, TASK and NOTIFY messages, human responses that route back to the agent, and directives from human to agent.
Why an open protocol
Agent-to-human messaging should not depend on which model or vendor runs the agent. MA2H keeps that layer provider-neutral, so any agent and any inbox can interoperate.

The specification and reference material live at ma2h.org (spec, GitHub). For how OH HAI implements it, see the protocol docs.
Who uses it
OH HAI is the human side of MA2H. Descant, Autonomy's autonomous software engineering system, uses it to reach its humans.
